PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pillow capable of suppressing and stopping a snore. SOLUTION: This pillow is provided with a snore detecting means detecting the sound of the snore; a vibrating means, when a snore detecting means detects the snore, vibrating the pillow; and a control means, when the head of a user is detected to be mounted on the pillow, actuating the snore detecting means and, when the head of the user is detected not to be mounted on the pillow, stopping the vibrating means. This pillow, when the user snores in a supine state, detects the snore and vibrates the pillow using a means such as a vibrator to wake up the user and stop the snoring. This pillow can be adjusted into an optimal shape and height according to the user in both the supine state and a recumbent state respectively so that the user can sleep well, even in the recumbent state and hardly snores.
