PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine for Welsh onion roots that can wash Welsh onion roots with a small amount of water by atomizing the water with air jets as the noise caused by air jetting is absorbed in the exhausting duct thereby largely reducing the noise level and simultaneously recovering and recycling the atomized water. SOLUTION: In this washing machine for Welsh onion roots, compressed air is jetted out through a plurality of air nozzles to remove the soil on the roots. Further, one or two among these air nozzles are connected to water-feeding pipe and the atomized water particles are jetted out by utilizing the action of Bernoulli's theorem.
