PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gene diagnostic device, capable of detecting a gene mutation involving≥1 base in a short time, also simply and accurately, having a small size and light weight, and automatizing the diagnosis inexpensively with a very small running cost. SOLUTION: This gene diagnostic device is equipped with a first container housing buffer solution and immersing a first electrode, a second container housing the buffer solution and immersing a second electrode, a tightly closed flowing passage installed as extended from the first container in lower direction and connecting the first container with the second container, a detecting part for detecting the DNA passing through the tightly closed flowing passage and an electric source capable of impressing an electric voltage between the first and second electrodes, and is constituted by filling the tightly closed flowing passage with a DNA conjugate solution containing the DNA conjugate obtained by bonding a DNA having a base sequence capable of forming a hydrogen bond with the specimen DNA, with a polymeric compound and capable of separating the specimen DNA to a normal type DNA and a mutant type DNA by the difference of the boding force, a linear polymer, a DNA bond-regulating agent and the buffer liquid.
