<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hot-rolling device and a hot-rolling method by which reactive electric energy consumption is controlled. <P>SOLUTION: This hot-rolling device has a rolling line for ferrous and nonferrous metals from a heating furnace 1 of a material to be rolled and an extracting device 2 to a coiler 7 through a rolling line. The rolling line is provided with a main computer 20 for predicting the demand of the reactive electric energy which is consumed by each device of the rolling line on the basis of a rolling schedule of the hot rolling on the basis of a production order and a conveying schedule predicted by the rolling schedule, effective /reactive electric energy which is consumed by each device of the rolling line and an extracting pitch of the material to be rolled, comparing the reference value of the reactive electric energy which is allowed to the whole rolling line with the predicted value of the demand of the reactive energy of the rolling line and a controller 30 which is operated by receiving the command of this main computer 20. In the case the predicted value of the demand of the reactive electric energy exceeds the reference value of the reactive electric energy, the reactive electric energy consumption of the rolling line is brought close to the target value by changing the extracting pitch of a extracting device 2 with the controller 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
