PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method of a cylinder-shaped secondary battery judging the quality depending on the difference of terminal voltagesΔV between a terminal voltage V1 before aging and a terminal voltage V2 after aging, discriminating and rejecting inferior batteries due to a minute short-circuit with high accuracy. SOLUTION: On the inspection method of a cylinder-shaped battery, the terminal voltage before aging is regarded as a potential in a discharging state, and a standard voltageΔVB is set up as an absolute value against a mean valueΔVA of theΔV fluctuating at every lot unit to be inspected, taking a voltage drop of the inferior battery having the minute short-circuit into consideration.
