PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage tank having a structure without using a bellows as a separation means in which the whole volume of a liquid can be discharged and charged freely at the vicinity of the tank bottom. SOLUTION: The tank is equipped with a flexible tubular object 50, the upper end 53 of which is fixed to the wall face 11 of the tank body 10 and lower end 54 of which is fixed to a partition plate 40 which can go up and down freely and the whole circumference of the tubular object is folded back in a cross section of J shape to form a double-wall tube 51, 52 and a spindle 60 is arranged on the folded position. Or a sealing member 80 having a nearly tubular shape, which is slid on the wall face of the tank body, is fixed on the partition plate 40 and the outer circumference face of the sealing member 80 is pressed on the wall face 11 with a pressing means 90. Further an opening and closing means 100 to flow or stop the liquid between the upper and lower part of the partition plate 40 and an anchor means 500 to disable the partition plate from raising are provided.
