PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve for a control muffler reducing the number of small holes provided in parallel or reducing a diameter thereof, and capable of securing rigidity, and restricted in the cost for equipment for forming the small holes in a bulkhead and restricted in the material cost. SOLUTION: In this valve for a control muffler 1 provided with a valve element 3 to be opened/closed in relation to a valve seat 2 provided in a baffle plate B1 inside the control muffler 1, a buffer mat 6 is provided in a part of an abutting surface 31 of the valve element 3 to form a clearance A between the valve element 3 and the valve seat 2 when fully closing the valve element 3.
