摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel which can conduct write-in performance stably and rapidly. SOLUTION: This plasma display panel is provided with an auxiliary scanning electrode 20 in which scanning electrodes 6 and maintenance electrodes 7 are ordered two by two alternately, and which is arranged parallel with the scanning electrodes 6 on a front face substrate 1; and a priming electrode 14 which is arranged parallel with the scanning electrode 6 on a back face substrate 2. And the auxiliary scanning electrode 20 is electrically connected with a scanning electrode that scans before an adjacent scanning electrode, and it is so constituted that a priming discharge is generated between the auxiliary scanning electrode 20 and the priming electrode 14.
