METHOD FOR PRODUCING AMINOTRIS(DISUBSTITUTED AMINO)PHOSPHONIUM CHLORIDE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for safely/easily producing an aminotris(disubstituted amino)phosphonium chloride in high yield and high selectivity on an industrial scale without the need of isolatedly handling phosphorus pentachloride. SOLUTION: The method for producing the aminotris(disubstituted amino)phosphonium chloride comprises the following process: Phosphorus trichloride and chlorine are reacted with each other in the presence of an aromatic hydrocarbon to form phosphorus pentachloride, subsequently in a condition of reaction mixture without isolation/refining of the phosphorus pentachloride, the phosphorus pentachloride in the reaction mixture and a disubstituted amine are reacted with each other to form a chlorotris(disubstituted amino)phosphonium chloride, which is then reacted with ammonia.
