Producing a biochip, with a carrier where reference molecules are bonded to micro-particles, comprising spreading the reference molecules at random over the surface and documenting their positions, is new. The micro-particles of glass or latex are bonded to the reference molecules, and a magnetic field is generated to move the particles into given positions on the carrier, to be immobilized.
