The chisel has a long shaft (1) with end sections (2,3), one being a tip part (4) decreasing in size from the shaft to a tip (5). At least one groove (6) extends through part of the shaft and the tip part. It is defined by two surfaces merging in a base with a groove angle, which varies in longitudinal direction of the base, e.g. it increases in direction from the tip section towards the second end section. The angle is obtuse, and is esp. larger than 90[deg]. In the area of the chisel tip section, the angle is approx. 120[deg], and widens to esp. approx. 140[deg]. The chisel shaft has several breaking zones (9a-c), each with a first and second zone area (9a1-9c-1), and the angle increase in size in at least one zone.
|
