<p>A cassette storage case capable of securing sufficient impact absorbing function without impairing productivity, wherein impact absorbing ribs (204) elastically supporting the upper surface of a stored tape cassette (C) and a cassette receiving rib (205) limiting the deformation of the impact absorbing ribs (204) exceeding the elastic limit thereof are formed on the inner surface of the top board part (201) of the cover body (20) of the cassette storage case (1) integrally with each other. The impact absorbing ribs (204) elastically deform in the range of a clearance (H1) between the tape cassette (C) and the cassette receiving rib (205) to absorb drop impact for the protection of the tape cassette (C). The cassette receiving rib (205) limits the deformation amount of the impact absorbing ribs (204) to maintain the stable impact absorbing function for a long period.</p> |
