ELECTRODE FOR FUEL CELL, ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD, AND FUEL CELL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-performance fuel cell with due consideration of relation of a spatial distribution of an agglomerate particle size of catalyst carrier particles with battery performance.

SOLUTION: The electrode for the fuel cell 2 jointed to a solid polymer electrolyte film 1 has a plurality of catalyst layers 21, 22 laminated including catalyst carrying particles with the catalyst carrier particles made to carry catalyst, and an average agglomerate particle size of the catalyst carrier particles of the catalyst layer 22 in contact with the solid polymer electrolyte film 1 is smaller than that of the catalyst carrier particles of the catalyst layer 21.
