<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in which each user has differences in proper parallax in stereoscopy and a user feels unpleasant in long-time stereoscopy. <P>SOLUTION: When an image providing part 108 provides a stereoscopic image, a viewpoint image acquisition part 102 acquires a viewpoint image according to a proper parallax quantity. A parallax quantity data storage part 106 stores the parallax quantities registered by the users, so the viewpoint image acquisition part 102 is able to determine the proper parallax for each user according to the parallax quantity data. Further, a stereoscopic feeling adjustment part 300 properly detects the information on an observation time etc. and then the image acquisition part 102 is able to obtain a viewpoint image based upon the proper parallax according to the situation even while the user stereoscopically views an image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
