PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently exhibit effectiveness of performance training by realizing the performance training in accordance with the will of a user.

SOLUTION: A computer unit to which an electronic musical instrument 25 can be connected, is provided with a function that enables the user to select a teaching method. The computer unit enables the user to conduct the performance training of the musical instrument in accordance with the teaching method selected by the user. In the selection of the teaching method, the teaching method consists of various combinations of methods related to a plurality of elements, for example and one of the plurality of patterns representing different combinations of the methods related to the plurality of the elements is selected or the selection is made for the methods related to the plurality of the elements respectively.
