PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the sticking of liquid face suspensions causing a defect in coating on entrance into an electrodeposition tank when a paint liquid is stirred in such a manner that the surface flow of the paint liquid in the electrodeposition tank is made to flow in a direction reverse to the moving direction of the object to be coated, and electrodeposition coating is performed. SOLUTION: The electrodeposition coating device is provided with a liquid face suspension discharging means (10) in which, before liquid face suspensions such as bubbles flowing from the exit side to entrance side in an electrodeposition tank (3) in a state of being carried on the surface flow (8U) of a paint liquid reach a zone (Z) where the object (W) to be coated entering the electrodeposition tank (3) is brought into contact with the liquid face of the paint liquid, the liquid face suspensions are washed away in the direction of the side wall of the electrodeposition tank (3), and are discharged to the outside of the tank.
