THREAD CUTTING CONTROL METHOD AND THREAD CUTTING CONTROLLER

A thread cutting controller controlling the thread cutting operation to move a cutter or a work in the direction of a feeding shaft in synchronism with rotation of a spindle so that the ridge is not damaged nor the dimensional accuracy of thread is lowered even if the spindle speed is variable, wherein the timing for starting thread cutting is altered based on the servo shaft acceleration time constant of the feeding shaft by providing a thread cutting operating section (3) and a spindle angle operating section (4).
