PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a showcase capable of changing the ratio of cooled commodities to the other commodities when a part of the inside of a showcase body is cooled by selecting a second air passage. SOLUTION: In this open showcase 1 having the second air passage H2 cooling the commodities on the lower side of a branch duct 8 and not cooling the commodities on the upper side of the branch duct 8, the branch duct 8 is formed to be attached to and detached from at least two upper and lower shelf receivers 4 among the shelf receivers 4 supporting commodity shelves 5. When the branch duct 8 is installed on the upper shelf receiver 41 when cool air is circulated through the second air passage H2, a cooling area formed on the lower side of the branch duct 8 is increased. On the other hand, when the branch duct 8 is installed on the lower shelf receiver 42, a cooling area on the lower side of the branch duct 8 is reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
