PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continue a stable operation even when the temperature of a heat source fluid such as warm waste water supplied as a heat source is changed or a temperature requested to warm water supplied from an absorption heat pump device is changed. SOLUTION: This absorption heat pump device is equipped with: a regenerator 1; a condenser 2; an evaporator 3; an absorber 4; a resorber 5 for making an absorptive solution absorb refrigerant vapor supplied from the evaporator 3; and a desorber 6 for evaporating a refrigerant to separate it from the absorptive solution by heating the absorptive solution with high refrigerant concentration supplied from the resorber 5 to return the absorptive solution with the refrigerant concentration lowered to the resorber 5 after exchanging its heat with that of the absorptive solution supplied from the resorber 5 by a heat exchanger 8, and for supplying the refrigerant vapor evaporated and separated from the absorptive solution to the absorber 4. A refrigerant tank 9 capable of introducing the refrigerant solution from the evaporator 3 and of delivering the refrigerant solution to the evaporator 3 is installed in the absorption heat pump device.
