PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible database system capable of performing data registration, retrieval processing, free display of the retrieval result, and the like. SOLUTION: In this system, the database body 3a of a data storage 3 stores a database in which one record is constituted from "a basic field consisting of input items and contents of predetermined basic information" and "text data capable of optionally describing item names and the contents in pairs". The data registration means 1a of a server 1 performs, on receipt of registration data including text data in which an item and a content are freely inputted from a terminal 2, performs data registration. A data retrieval means 1c extracts a record matched to a retrieval condition based on a data retrieval command from the terminal 2, and an integrated restructuring means 1b performs integrated restructuring of a retrieval result table based on an integrated restructuring command from the terminal 2.
