PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of bad cost performance because of the necessity of a plurality of video recording apparatuses when simultaneous recording of a plurality of TV programs is desired. SOLUTION: A video recording apparatus for television signals is provided with: a tuner for receiving a television signal on a network; a means for detecting a function of video-recording the television signal received by the tuner; a means for displaying an icon denoting the presence of the detected tuner; a (drag and drop) means for providing reservation information to the icon; and a means for executing the video recording on the basis of information described in the reservation information by a video recording apparatus having the tuner on the network related to the icon to which the reservation information is given.
