PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the wear resistance of a composite material over a long period of time. SOLUTION: The ceramics hollow particle-containing composite material is composed in such a manner that ceramics hollow particles formed of a homogenous, firm porous shell layer obtained by joining each ceramic powder are dispersed into a base material.
