PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheetlike external preparation for skin sufficiently exhibiting effects of an oily medicinal effective ingredient and having excellent stability with time and an excellent feeling of use. SOLUTION: The skin care preparation for external use is obtained by impregnating a sheetlike substrate with an oil-in-water type emulsified composition comprising (1) an oil containing one or two or more kinds of oily medicinal effective ingredients and one or two or more kinds selected from the group consisting of methylphenylpolysiloxane, pentaerythritol tetra-2-ethylhexanoate and glyceryl tri-2-ethylhexanoate, (3) a hydrophilic nonionic surfactant, (4) a water-soluble solvent and (5) water.
