PURPOSE: A device for controlling the temperature of a home theater system is provided to forcibly discharge air inside a system by using a fan, and to drive the fan at more than a volume level which can offset noise caused by the fan, thereby suppressing an increase of the temperature and the noise. CONSTITUTION: A volume detector(100) detects the volume level of a signal outputted from an amplifier of a home theater system. A noise level storage(200) stores the noise level generated while a fan is driven. A controller(300) periodically compares the volume level with the noise level, and outputs a driving signal if the volume level is more than the noise level. A fan driver(400) drives the fan by the fan driving signal outputted from the controller(300).
