<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hands-free system with which useless power consumption is suppressed and safety operations can be performed without using hands by automatically turning on/off power sources of a voice recognizing part and of a voice synthesizing part. <P>SOLUTION: The hands-free system is provided with a voice recognizing/synthesizing part power source 12 as a power source dedicated to the voice recognizing part 10 and the voice synthesizing part 11 of a mobile phone 1. In input waiting of the mobile phone 1, the voice recognizing/synthesizing part power source 12 is turned off. At incoming call, when an incoming call arrives, afterwards, the voice recognizing/synthesizing part power source 12 is then turned on and voice operations, namely, so-called hands-free operations are performed. In originating a call, a user turns on the control switch 24 of a hands-free unit 21, so that the voice recognizing/synthesizing part power source 12 of the mobile phone 1 is turned on thereafter, and voice operations, namely, so-called hands-free operations are performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
