<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To have varied display modes by using a plurality of display means. <P>SOLUTION: A symbol display device for a game machine is constituted of transparent blank symbols 31a-31f disposed on a first through a third display surfaces 21a-23a respectively provided on a first through a third display bodies. When the first through third display bodies stop rotating, a player wins when the same symbols line up on any prize winning line 120-131 formed radially. In the symbol display device, when the blank symbols on the first through third display surfaces 21a-23a line up on any prize winning line, a reel mounted plate 24 rotates, and a sub reel 25 moves to the back side of the blank symbols lined on the prize winning line.
