PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL panel of which a width of the area usable as a displaying area is wide, having sufficient adhesion strength. SOLUTION: The organic EL panel comprises a base plate 10; a lamination body 11 having at least a first electrode 13, a light emitting layer 15a, and a second electrode 16, laminated on the base plate 10; and a sealing member 12 having first adhesion surfaces 12a, 12b, 12c, 12d adhered to the base plate 10 by an adhesive G. The base plate 10 has second adhesion surfaces 10a, 10b, 10c, 10d facing the first adhesion surfaces 12a, 12b, 12c, 12d. At least parts 10b, 12b, 10d, and 12d of the first adhesion surfaces 12a, 12b, 12c, 12d, and the second adhesion surfaces 10a, 10b, 10c, 10d, are of slanted surfaces. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
