PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract a frequently appearing time sequential pattern in time sequential data no matter which of the time sequential data for which included information elements are either a numerical value or a text and the time sequential data for which the numerical value and the text coexist they are. SOLUTION: In the case that the information element included in first time sequential data is the numerical value, a numerical value key concept extraction part 3 extracts a key concept corresponding to the information element. In the case that the information element included in the first time sequential data is the text, a text key concept extraction part 4 extracts the key concept corresponding to the information element. A time sequential pattern extraction part 5 generates second time sequential data for which each information element of the first time sequential data is replaced with the extracted key concept. The time sequential pattern extraction part 5 calculates evaluation values indicating the appearing frequencies of the time sequential patterns formed by the key concepts in the second time sequential data and extracts the frequently appearing time sequential pattern from the time sequential patterns on the basis of the evaluation values.
