PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement quick and easy designing of a pile while taking a pile head fixing degree into consideration. SOLUTION: There is provided a pile designing device 2000 which outputs information indicative of a value concerning a moment which a simple-jointed pile receives at its pile head, based on a moment which a normal-jointed pile receives at its pile head, wherein the simple-jointed pile has a different pile head structure from that of the normal-jointed pile. The pile designing device 2000 is comprised of a memory 216 for storing therein the value of the first moment which the normal-jointed pile receives at the pile head, a fixed disk 204 for storing therein the pile head fixing degree beforehand, a CPU 202 for calculating the value concerning the second moment which the simple-jointed pile receives at the pile head, based on the pile head fixing degree and the first moment, and a monitor 208 for outputting the information indicative of the value concerning the second moment.
