<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable responding to a change in situation of a system in a data processing system for performing a predefined series of processing in cooperation on a network. <P>SOLUTION: A rule list screen 100 is displayed on a display 34 just after the start up of a control device and when the display is instructed by a user. If there is something relating to the error generated in execution of the rule in the error history stored in the error history memory, 'existent' is displayed, and if there is nothing relating to the error, 'not existent' is displayed in an error point field 111F, respectively.
