<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fare adjustment device enabling a user to perform addition of an IC card without going to an installation site of an exclusive IC card addition device. <P>SOLUTION: When an addition button 5 is pressed, and an IC card processing part 2 detects the IC card, this fare adjustment device 1 moves to an addition mode.
