PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof material having workability, waterproof function, heat insulation function, and dew roofing function. SOLUTION: The roof material A forms a waterproof piece 13 overhanging upward at the upstream side extremity of a decorative face 4, a fitting piece 14 overhanging the extremity of the waterproof piece 13 projecting the extremity of the waterproof piece 13 to the upstream side. In the downstream extremity of the decoration face 4, a vertical piece 6 projecting upward, a stepped decorative face 6a suspending downward at the downstream side extremity of the decorative face 4, the deepest piece 8 projecting the downward from the vicinal part of the extremity of the decorative face 4, and an insertion piece 9 projecting the extremity of the deepest piece 8 downstream are formed.
