PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector wherein a temperature difference between a plurality of heat generating components is suppressed, and which is suitable for the miniaturization. SOLUTION: The projector 10 is provided with a plurality of heat generating components 11, 20, 21, 22 and 31a, a heat radiating body 32 and a heat transmitting member 33 for thermally connecting the plurality of heat generating components and the heat radiating body. As for the plurality of heat generating components 11, 20, 21, 22 and 31a, a thermal distance from the components to a heat sink 32 on the heat transmitting member 33 is made shorter in descending order of the heat values of the components.
