PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for trapping midkine to specifically and intensely suppress the secretion of MK protein or specifically bond to secreted MK to inhibit the bonding of MK to a receptor. SOLUTION: A region having high affinity especially to MK is found in the amino acid sequence of LRP (LDL receptor-related protein) which is an MK receptor and the peptide is excreted from a cell or expressed in an endoplasmic reticula by applying a reticula retention signal.
