PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction head of a vacuum cleaner including a rotary brush having a good balance and reduced vibration. SOLUTION: The suction head includes a lower case 2 having a suction port 3, the rotary brush 15 mounted with a plurality of cleaning bodies 19 in the longitudinal direction of the outer peripheral surface and rotatably supported in the lower case 3, an upper case for covering the upper part of the lower case 2, and a connection pipe 4 held between the lower case 2 and the upper case. In the rotary brush 15, two cylindrical rotary bodies 17a and 17b having substantially the same length are connected with each other, the two connected rotary bodies 17a and 17b are inserted with a support shaft along the axes of the rotary bodies, and both ends of the connected rotary bodies 17a and 17b and the support shaft are integrally attached with support rings 35a and 35b.
