PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sterilized ligand immobilizing material which solves the problem that a physiologically active substance is unspecifically stuck to material and which can be utilized for extracorporal circulation by a simple method of production. SOLUTION: The ligand immobilizing material is obtained by adsorbing a biological substance with a hydrophobic site to a hydrophobic base material, and adsorbing cationic macromolecules to which a ligand is bonded to the biological substance.
