VOICE RECOGNITION DEVICE IN A VCR/DVDP COMPOSITE PRODUCT, CONCERNED WITH ACTIVELY COPING WITH THE USER'S REQUEST

PURPOSE: A voice recognition device in a VCR/DVDP composite product is provided to properly control a range of voice recognition at the request of a user in a VCR/DVDP composite product for controlling a driving of a voice recognition function. CONSTITUTION: A voice processor(2) processes a user's input voice signal into a voice command pattern recognized by a voice recognition microcomputer(4). A storage(3) stores voice patterns for a voice command. The voice recognition microcomputer(4) compares the voice command pattern with the stored voice patterns. A recognition range selector(5) controls a recognition range of a reference voice pattern when the voice recognition microcomputer(4) compares the voice patterns.
