EXHAUST GAS PURIFICATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas purification system having a high removal rate of NOx.

SOLUTION: This exhaust gas purification system 1 is provided with a plasma reactor 3 and an NOx selectively reducing catalyst unit 4 having an NOx selectively reducing catalyst layer acting on the exhaust gas in this order in an exhaust gas circulating route from the upstream side to the downstream side. A reducing agent adding means 2 is arranged on the upstream side of the reactor 3 for adding a reducing agent to the exhaust gas. Nickel of ≥0.9 mass% and ≤3.6 mass% and silver (an NOx selectively reducing catalyst) of ≥1.5 mass% and ≤5 mass% are contained in the NOx selectively reducing catalyst layer on the basis of the NOx selectively reducing catalyst layer.
