PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost required when a core and a cushion member are arranged in a side door of a vehicle in a substantially vehicle width direction in order to protect occupants in a side impact of the vehicle. SOLUTION: A stiffener 20 extending in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle is fixed to an inner surface of an outer panel 3 in a side door 1 for the vehicle, a relatively hard, bag-shaped core 21 is fitted to the stiffener 20, and a relatively flexible bag-shaped cushion member 24 is fitted to a trim 6 on an inner panel 5 side on the inner side of the core 21 in the vehicle width direction.
