PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information arrival notice method capable of surely informing a user about the arrival of information without producing a ringer tone or vibration being a cause of noise and to provide a mobile phone and a charger for the same. SOLUTION: When a mobile phone receives information via a mobile phone communication network, the mobile phone projects an arrival notice image for informing the user about the arrival of the information onto a projected plane which the user can visually confirm. The mobile phone is configured to include: a wireless communication section 113 for receiving the information via the mobile phone communication network; an image projection section 130 for projecting an image onto the projection plane 200 which the user can visually recognize; and a control section 111 for controlling the image projection section 130 to project the arrival notice image for informing of the arrival of the information onto the projected plane when the wireless communication section 113 receives the information.
