PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cathode-ray tube apparatus that improves unbalance in correction to vertical and horizontal axes in rotation correction and can display an image having a small amount of distortion. SOLUTION: In the cathode-ray tube apparatus, a rotation correction coil 1 for correcting rotation around the axis of a pipe in a display image is fitted near an opening at the side of a panel 3 of a deflection york 7 fitted onto the outer periphery of an envelope, where the panel 3, a funnel 4, and a neck 5 are integrated. When viewing from a direction orthogonally crossing the axis of the pipe, one portion of the rotation correction coil 1 is bent to the side of the panel 3 or that of the neck 5.
