PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute a CPU backup pool by using an optional suitable capacity on demand system (for example, an iCOD program of HP) so that there is no cost to a customer using dynamic processor transfer. SOLUTION: Embodiment of this invention provides an assembly and a method for supporting resource transfer of processor level (for example, CPU level) granularity for over hardware partitions by using the existing backup processor and thus, for providing load balancing solution at the processor granularity. The embodiment includes creation of a distribution pool of the backup processor and its member is automatically allocated to a partition which requires most of all the backup processor.
