PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid loss of data stored in a memory with respect to a controller for a system having a data storage memory such as an EEPROM (electrically erasable programmable read-only memory). SOLUTION: A plurality of boards are provided in the system, a memory for data backup is mounted on each board, and communication is carried out between CPUs on each board to store the same data in each memory. By this, backup data are secured by the memory mounted on one board even when either one of the boards is damaged. Overwriting is prohibited in regard to data of a first warning (the first warning out of warnings which are causes leading to an alarm) at system malfunction outage, and loss of the data at the first warning is prevented.
