PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display having high display quality by forming a desired storage capacitance even when disconnection is generated in pixel electrodes. SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display provided with a pattern 12 for forming storage capacity disposed via a storage capacitance electrode 3 and an insulating film and connected to a pixel electrode 4 and performing display by applying an electric field between the pixel electrode 4 and a common electrode 5 disposed opposite to the pixel electrode in a direction nearly parallel to an insulating substrate to align a liquid crystal, the pixel electrode 4 has at least two potential supplying paths to the pattern 12 for forming storage capacitance.
