PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine cooling device capable of appropriately avoiding unnecessary circulation of refrigerant. SOLUTION: This engine cooling device is provided with a heat storage container 15 for storing the cooling water, while retaining warmth of the vessel water, a heater core 13 for exchanging the heat between the cooling water and the air for warming inside a room, and a three-way valve 22 for switching circulation circuits of the cooling water, and this engine cooling device includes a heater closing circuit for circulating the cooling water through the heat storage vessel 15 and the heater core 13 without passing an engine E as a circulation circuit. When starting the engine E and when supply of the cooling water to the heater core 13 is requested in the condition that temperature of the cooling water inside the heat storage container 15 is the heater request water temperature or more, circulation circuit of the cooling water is changed to the heater closing circuit through the control by the three-way valve 22, and when temperature of the cooling water inside the heat storage container 15 is lower than the heater request temperature, circulation of the cooling water through the heater closing circuit is inhibited.
