PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric pot preventing leakage of a liquid from a cover body to the outside of a body when the body is tilted backward or falls down. SOLUTION: The backward tilting or falling down of the body makes a ball valve 10 block a water shutoff port 6d regardless of the speed of the tilting or falling down motion to prevent the leakage of the liquid from the cover body to the outside of the body. And a sudden closure of the opened upper part of a container by the cover body promptly reduces the pressure in the container.
