PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle capable of improving an air conditioning feeling of an occupant during defrosting operation. SOLUTION: In the air conditioning device for the vehicle, a first indoor heat exchanger with a refrigerant circulating in it and a second indoor heat exchanger connected to a heat medium supply means are arranged in an indoor unit provided with an inside air introduction port and an outside air introduction port having an inside/outside air changeover damper, and a plurality of outlets respectively having an opening/closing damper. A defrost mode is provided for operation setting the inside/outside air changeover damper for an outside air introduction position, and setting a refrigerating cycle for heating operation when an outside temperature t1 is not more than a first predetermined temperature T1 and setting the refrigerating cycle for cooling operation or dehumidifying operation when the outside temperature t1 is higher than the first predetermined temperature T1.
