<p>The assembly to shape the upper (1) or parts of the upper of footwear, especially the vamp, has a last-type mold (2) with shaping strips (16) pressed against its sides. The last and the strips have a height adjustment against each other, with a clamp (9) to secure and center the upper. The clamp extends over the whole length of the edge of the upper where the sole will be attached. The clamp, with upper (15) and lower (14) clamping pads moving against each other, is in two units (A,C) which swing around a vertical axis.</p> |
