<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediate transfer recording medium wherein a hologram image can be formed at an accurate position, a half-cut processing can be processed at an accurate position on a transparent sheet part including a receiving layer, in addition, a thermal transfer image can be formed at an accurate position of the receiving layer, furthermore, the transparent sheet part can be transferred at an accurate position on a body to be transferred, and the surrounding part of a patch part surrounded by the half-cut and a register mark part are prevented from turning up. <P>SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for the intermediate transfer recording medium comprises laminating the transparent sheet provided successively with a sheet base material provided with a resin layer, a hologram forming layer, and the receiving layer, performing the half-cut processing on the transparent sheet part, forming the register mark on at least one face of the transparent sheet, and releasing between the resin layer and the transparent sheet. In this method, the register mark is detected, registration with the register mark is controlled, and after the image of the hologram is formed and the half-cut processing to the transparent sheet part is processed, a part except the patch part and the register mark part is released from the sheet base material and is removed.
