<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide viridescent brown alga food where brown alga or the like is developed in color into vivid green, the green color is sustainable for some days without producing any odd smell and the palate feeling does not become stiff, and the product value is improved. <P>SOLUTION: The viridescent brown alga food is obtained by branching brown alga followed by cooling the branched brown alga.
